Countdown timer for Twitch streams
A stream countdown helps viewers arrive at the same instant even when the schedule is announced in a different timezone. It also gives you one link to update when plans move.
01
Set the broadcast start
Use the timezone where you manage the stream schedule and set the actual go-live time. Include the game, guest, tournament, or episode in the title so shared previews are recognizable.
02
Connect the destination
Add the Twitch channel as the online event URL. Viewers can move from the countdown to the channel without searching, and the event page remains clear when shared outside Twitch.
Post the same countdown in Discord, social updates, and your channel website. Reusing one URL avoids conflicting times across announcements.
03
Update recurring schedules carefully
Weekly recurrence fits a genuinely stable weekly slot. For special streams or schedules that move often, create an individual event and update it through the management link instead.
